About Adam Gilbeau, MRP™

Born and raised in Windham County, Adam Gilbeau grew up primarily in Wilmington and graduated from Wilmington Middle High School in 2000. Shortly after graduation, he began a military career that would span more than two decades, first serving in the United States Marine Corps and later the United States Army. Following his retirement from military service in May 2025, Adam and his family returned home to Southern Vermont.

Throughout his military career, Adam served in a variety of leadership, recruiting, instructional and operations roles, including as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. His service included deployments overseas as well as missions here at home in response to natural disasters and other emergencies. The leadership, problem-solving and commitment to service that defined his military career now shape the way Adam approaches real estate and represents his clients.

As a Military Relocation Professional (MRP™), Adam has specialized training in assisting active-duty military members, veterans and their families. He also brings significant firsthand knowledge of VA financing, having personally navigated the VA home loan process four times in two different states. Since entering real estate, Adam has successfully represented clients throughout Southern Vermont, with closed transactions stretching from Danby to Whitingham, and his clients consistently speak highly of his responsiveness, dedication and commitment to helping them through the buying process.

Adam’s lifelong connection to the area also gives him a valuable understanding of Southern Vermont and the communities that make it such a special place to live. Outside of real estate, he is a devoted husband and father of two and a high school baseball coach at Burr & Burton Academy in Manchester. He enjoys skiing, fishing and ice fishing, spending time outdoors with his family, and is passionate about conservation and Vermont’s natural landscape.
