Cathy has been a licensed agent since 2014. She co-owns a successful brokerage in Connecticut as well as having held the Principal Broker position of a Wilmington VT real estate office for the last few years. With a diverse real estate background spanning two states, a decade of experience, and a range of management roles, Cathy is well-prepared, well-qualified, and available to serve her clients' needs.
Prior to entering the real estate field, Cathy spent decades as a special education teacher including head teacher and serving in department head roles overseeing 40 other educators at times. Her background in education and people management seamlessly carries over into her approach to real estate. Her dedication to educating, informing, and guiding both buyers and sellers is a testament to her commitment to helping clients navigate the real estate process with knowledge, confidence, and care.
Beyond her professional dedication, Cathy's personal interests are equally captivating. Her love for winter, especially in New England, is deeply ingrained, a passion she's nurtured over decades. Cathy's connection to the region runs deep; she's been visiting Vermont since her childhood and, for the past 15 years, has made it home ( away from home) with her own family on Chimney Hill in Wilmington.
In addition to her enthusiasm for winter, Cathy has a keen interest in classic cars, currently working on the restoration of a 1965 Corvair. When she's not working or immersed in her car restoration projects, you can often find Cathy on the slopes, skiing with her children. In her free time, she and her firefighter husband seek out new adventures to enjoy together. As evidence of her adventurous spirit, she celebrated her 55th birthday with a thrilling experience—driving race cars and Porsches at Lime Rock, reaching speeds of up to 100 miles per hour!".
Cathy is excited to continue her Vermont real estate career here at
Southern Vermont Realty Group with the same passion, dedication, and sense of adventure that she brings to every aspect of her life.
